Getting Started

Q: How do I play Pulsar Point?
A: Drag your finger to move the white circle. Collect black dots for points and colored dots for bonuses. Avoid red dots - they end your game. Use the gravity field around your circle to help collect distant dots.
Q: What are the colored dots?
A: Blue dots start chain progressions. Collect 3 blue dots to unlock 1 green dot (worth more points). Continue the chain: green → orange → purple → pink → brown → gold. Each color has different time limits and point values.
Q: How do power-ups work?
A: Earn power-ups by completing levels. Tap the icons at the bottom to activate them:
  • Slow Motion: Slows down all dots for 5 seconds
  • Gravity Boost: Increases your gravity field for 8 seconds
  • Shield: Protects from one red dot collision
  • Magnetic Pull: Attracts dots toward you for 6 seconds (Premium)
  • Time Freeze: Stops colored dot timers for 10 seconds (Premium)

Premium Features

Q: What's included in the Premium upgrade?
A: Premium ($1.99) unlocks:
  • Unlimited levels (16+)
  • Enhanced power-ups (magnetic pull, time freeze)
  • Challenge escalation modes
  • Advanced statistics and analytics
Q: How do I restore my Premium purchase?
A: Go to Settings → Premium Status → "Restore Purchases" if you've already purchased Premium on this Apple ID.

Gameplay

Q: Why did my chain reset?
A: Chains reset when:
  • You collect the wrong color dot
  • A colored dot expires (timer runs out)
  • You hit a red dot
  • You start a new level
Q: How do I unlock higher levels?
A: Complete each level by collecting all required dots. Premium is required for levels 16 and above.
Q: Can I adjust the difficulty?
A: Yes! Go to Settings to enable:
  • Small circle mode (more challenging)
  • Challenge escalation options (Premium only)

Technical Support

Q: The game is running slowly on my device.
A: Try:
  1. Close other apps running in the background
  2. Restart your device
  3. Update to the latest iOS version
  4. Ensure you have adequate storage space
Q: My high scores disappeared.
A: High scores are stored locally on your device. They may be lost if you delete and reinstall the app, or restore your device from backup.
Q: Touch controls feel unresponsive.
A: Clean your screen and ensure you're not wearing gloves. The game requires direct finger contact with the screen.

Q: How do I reset tutorial progress?
A: Go to Settings → Tutorial → "Reset Tutorial Progress"
Q: Can I turn off sound effects?
A: Yes, go to Settings → Audio & Haptics → toggle off "Sound Effects"
Q: What are the challenge escalation modes?
A: Premium features that make the game progressively harder:
  • Increasing red dot speed
  • More blue dots per level
  • Shorter colored dot timers
  • Smaller gravity field
  • Pulsing gravity field
